We owe our horses a fair and responsible partnership of good care and understanding, because their lives have essentially been given to us. People have used horses for centuries, for work, war, sport and companionship. We are very excited that we were designated 170(b)(1)(a)vi, a non profit organization for the prevention of cruelty to animals, under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code. The volunteers devote many hours each day to helping, learning about and caring for several horses rescued from abandonment, abuse or a miserable trip to the slaughterhouse.Įye of the Storm received its final IRS determination in 2004 after a 5- year working period. The farm was founded by the late Nina Arbella, a long-time horse owner who was inspired by Stormy, her first and best equine friend. Horses that come to this barn remain here for life, or may be placed in approved homes once they are completely rehabilitated. When a spell with Replicate is copied by Eye of the Storm, you have the opportunity to pay additional costs, so you may Replicate as much as you like (assuming you have the mana available).Located in Stow, Massachusetts, Eye of the Storm is an equine rescue center dedicated to saving the lives of horses who have been abused, neglected or abandoned. You must still follow any restrictions on when you can cast the spell, such as “cast only during combat” or “cast only on your own turn.” Any X in the mana cost of a copy cast this way will be 0. The player chooses modes, pays additional costs, chooses targets, and so on for the copies when casting them. All chosen copies are cast in the order the player chooses.
That player then chooses which of those copies to cast, if any. When the ability resolves, the player copies all cards exiled with Eye of the Storm, not just the cards they own. The card that was cast is exiled and won’t resolve, but the player will get a copy of the spell from Eye of the Storm. A copy of a card (such as those generated by Eye of the Storm itself) won’t trigger this ability. The ability triggers when a player casts an instant or sorcery *card*.
